1. Introduction

This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which bookings made with Simplicity Tours & Travels may be cancelled, amended, or refunded. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the terms stated below.

2. Cancellation by the Client

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or official communication channels.

a) Tours and Safaris

  • 30 days or more before departure: Full refund minus administrative and bank charges.

  • 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund of the total booking amount.

  • 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund of the total booking amount.

  • Less than 7 days before departure or no-show: No refund.

Refunds are subject to third-party supplier policies (lodges, park fees, transport providers).

b) Air Tickets

  • Cancellations and refunds are governed by airline fare rules.

  • Some tickets may be non-refundable or may attract cancellation penalties.

  • Simplicity Tours & Travels is not responsible for airline-imposed fees or delays.

c) Hotel and Accommodation Bookings

  • Cancellation terms depend on the hotel or lodge policy.

  • Some accommodations may be fully non-refundable once confirmed.

d) Visa Assistance Services

  • Visa processing fees, embassy fees, and service charges are non-refundable once the application process has started.

  • Visa refusal does not qualify for a refund.

3. Amendments and Changes

  • Date or itinerary changes are subject to availability and supplier approval.

  • Additional charges may apply due to rate differences or penalties.

  • Any cost increase must be settled by the client before confirmation of changes.

4. Cancellation by Simplicity Tours & Travels

We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to:

  • Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (force majeure)

  • Failure to receive full payment

  • Safety, security, or operational concerns

In such cases, clients will be offered:

  • A full refund or

  • An alternative arrangement of similar value

5. Force Majeure

Simplicity Tours & Travels shall not be held liable for cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Political instability

  • Epidemics or pandemics

  • Government restrictions

  • Strikes or transport disruptions

Refunds in such cases will depend on recoveries from third-party suppliers.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–21 working days.

  • Refunds will be made using the original payment method where possible.

  • Bank or transaction charges are non-refundable.

7. No-Show Policy

Failure to appear for a tour, flight, or accommodation without prior cancellation will be treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.

8. Acceptance of Policy

By booking with Simplicity Tours & Travels, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation Policy.
